Issue Areas
Financial service providers throughout the world are benefitting from unprecedented recognition and access to capital. This, in turn, has allowed the sector to provide millions of the world’s households and micro and small businesses with financial services. We work with financial services providers including insurers, banks, Microfinance institutions, cooperative institutions, and impact investors to ensure shared value to clients, staff, management and investors or donors.
Our philosophy
-
The client must be at the center of financial inclusion initiatives
-
Access to financial products unlocks business opportunities, enables risk mitigation, and asset accumulation
-
However, inclusion must be done responsibly

Examples of our work:
-
Supported AXA Global Insurance in the development of insurance products in Indonesia, Philippines, Colombia, Egypt and Mexico including client focussed training and revisiting emerging customer strategy.
-
Designed a bespoke one-week training on financial inclusion for the Central Bank of Nigeria’s Financial Inclusion Secretariat. Sessions involved speakers with broad expertise from Enabling Capital, the Financial Access Initiative, the Social Performance Task Force, Innovations for Policy Action and others.
-
Conducted a study of the demand-side, supply, side and regulatory environment for strengthening consumer protection in financial services in Mexico with an emphasis on recently-included populations on behalf of Nacional Monte de Piedad.
-
Conducted a strategic analysis of Satin Credit Care, a leading microfinance institution in India to identify opportunities to increase competitiveness and financial performance by strengthening the client value proposition.
