Myriam supervised the bookkeeping team and served as lead financial data analyst for Small Firm Diaries. She is a senior accountant with more than seven years of experience in public and private accounting, in industries from manufacturing and real estate to restaurants and investment firms. She has led audits, managed financial reporting across several entities, and built forecasting and cash-flow analysis for companies from small businesses to large corporations. She also co-owns a real estate business. Myriam holds an MBA in Data Analytics and a BA in Accounting and Business Management from DeSales University.

Susana has been a relationship manager and bookkeeping specialist for Small Firm Diaries since April 2025. She works directly with small business owners, keeps their financial records current, and makes sure what they share reaches the research. She runs her own practice, Journey Journal Bookkeeping, and is a QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor. Before that she spent seven years as a team leader at Liberty Travel, managing budgets, payroll and reconciliations, and has worked as a licensed real estate agent and independent travel advisor. She holds a degree in Business and Hospitality Management from UNAPEC in Santo Domingo.

Jennifer has been a bookkeeping specialist for Small Firm Diaries since April 2025, where she also handles administrative and HR work. She brings together financial data from small businesses of very different kinds so it can be compared across the study. She has worked as operations manager for an accounting agency, leading its bookkeeping, payroll, cash-flow and client work, and as Head of People at Kard Financial, where she grew the team from 15 to 50. Earlier roles in HR include Bloomberg and Lockheed Martin. She has worked with small businesses in real estate, construction, SaaS, insurance, transport and e-commerce, in both the US and the UK. She holds a BSc in Business Management from The Open University.
